Courts
Find a place to play, today.
Our verified court database is being built. Until then, here is exactly how to find courts and open play anywhere.
Five ways to find a court this week
- 1
Your city's parks & rec site
Search for 'pickleball' on the parks department page. Most list dedicated courts, converted tennis courts and open play hours.
- 2
Club and community apps
Local pickleball groups organize on Facebook, Meetup, TeamReach and Playtime Scheduler. Search your town's name plus 'pickleball'.
- 3
USA Pickleball ambassadors
USA Pickleball has a volunteer ambassador network by region who know every court and every open-play session in their area.
- 4
Tennis clubs and YMCAs
Many now line courts for pickleball and run beginner sessions with loaner paddles.
- 5
Ask at any court
Pickleball players are unusually welcoming. Show up at open play, ask to rotate in, and you will have a regular game by the end of the week.
Open-play etiquette in four lines
- Stack your paddle in the queue; that is the line.
- Games to 11, winners stay for one more or everyone rotates, depending on the court.
- Call the score loudly, call lines honestly, paddle-tap after.
- New? Say so. Someone will explain the local rules.
