Accessories
Overgrips, lead tape, edge guard tape, eyewear and the small things that fix real problems.
How to choose
Buying accessories without the guesswork
- 1
Overgrips
The cheapest upgrade in pickleball. Tacky grips help sweaty hands; a second overgrip builds up a handle that is too thin.
- 2
Lead tape
Adds weight to specific spots on the paddle: the top for power, the sides for stability, the throat for a lower balance. Start with 2–4 grams and adjust.
- 3
Eyewear
A ball to the eye at the kitchen line is not rare. Protective eyewear is cheap insurance, especially for hands battles.
- 4
Edge guard tape
Protects the edge from ground scrapes and keeps the guard from separating.
