Buying nets & home courts without the guesswork

Regulation size or not
A regulation net is 22 feet wide, 36 inches at the posts and 34 inches at the center. Cheaper nets are sometimes shorter or sag; fine for the driveway, not for practice.

Portable nets
Steel frames are sturdier; aluminum is lighter. Look for a center strap to hold 34 inches and a carry bag you will actually use.
