What's actually different
Generated from the brands' published specs. Nothing here comes from lab testing; see how we read specs.
Shape
The SLK ERA Power Elongated 16mm is an elongated shape (16.5" × 7.45"); the SLK ERA Power Widebody 16mm is a standard shape (15.95" × 8"). Longer, narrower shapes add reach and leverage; wider faces give a bigger sweet spot.
Swingweight
The SLK ERA Power Elongated 16mm has the higher swingweight: 118 against 109. Higher swingweight means more plow-through on drives; the SLK ERA Power Widebody 16mm's lower number means quicker hands in fast exchanges.
Twistweight
The SLK ERA Power Widebody 16mm has the higher twistweight: 7.3 against 6.6. Higher twistweight resists twisting on off-center hits, so the SLK ERA Power Widebody 16mm should be the more forgiving of the two when you miss the middle.
Handle
The SLK ERA Power Elongated 16mm has the longer handle: 5.8" against 5.6", which leaves more room for a two-handed backhand.
