What's actually different
Generated from the brands' published specs. Nothing here comes from lab testing; see how we read specs.
Core thickness
The Perseus Pro IV 14mm has the thinner core: 14mm against 16mm. Thinner cores generally hit harder with a firmer feel; thicker cores absorb more pace, which helps dinks and resets.
Weight
The Perseus Pro IV 16mm is 0.2 oz heavier: 8.1 oz against 7.9 oz. Static weight alone doesn't tell you how a paddle swings; swingweight does, when the brand publishes it.
Handle
Both have a 5.5" handle. Grip circumference is 4.125" on the Perseus Pro IV 14mm and 4.25" on the Perseus Pro IV 16mm.
Face and core
Both use a textured carbon fiber face. Core: PP core + EVA foam wall against Propulsion Core: polypropylene honeycomb with EVA foam wall (TechFlex Power).
Warranty
Warranty is 12 months (registration required) on the Perseus Pro IV 14mm and 12 months on the Perseus Pro IV 16mm.
