What's actually different
Generated from the brands' published specs. Nothing here comes from lab testing; see how we read specs.
Core thickness
The Magnus Pro IV 14mm has the thinner core: 14mm against 16mm. Thinner cores generally hit harder with a firmer feel; thicker cores absorb more pace, which helps dinks and resets.
Weight
The Magnus Pro IV 16mm is 0.2 oz heavier: 8.2 oz against 8 oz. Static weight alone doesn't tell you how a paddle swings; swingweight does, when the brand publishes it.
Handle
Both have a 5" handle. Grip circumference is 4.1875" on the Magnus Pro IV 14mm and 4.25" on the Magnus Pro IV 16mm.
What's the same, or can't be compared

- Swingweight: Swingweight is not published for either paddle, so we can't compare it.
- Twistweight: Twistweight is not published for either paddle, so we can't compare it.
- Face and core: Same face (textured carbon fiber) and core (PP core + EVA foam wall).
- Price: Same price right now: $150 at JustPaddles (checked Oct 20).
- Warranty: 12 months (registration required) on both.
