What's actually different
Generated from the brands' published specs. Nothing here comes from lab testing; see how we read specs.
Shape
The 1 TruFoam Barrage 14mm is an elongated shape (16.5" × 7.35"); the 2 TruFoam Barrage 14mm is a standard shape (16" × 7.85"). Longer, narrower shapes add reach and leverage; wider faces give a bigger sweet spot.
Swingweight
The 1 TruFoam Barrage 14mm has the higher swingweight: 118 against 111. Higher swingweight means more plow-through on drives; the 2 TruFoam Barrage 14mm's lower number means quicker hands in fast exchanges.
Twistweight
The 2 TruFoam Barrage 14mm has the higher twistweight: 6.9 against 5.88. Higher twistweight resists twisting on off-center hits, so the 2 TruFoam Barrage 14mm should be the more forgiving of the two when you miss the middle.
Handle
The 1 TruFoam Barrage 14mm has the longer handle: 5.75" against 5.5", which leaves more room for a two-handed backhand.
